Great news in sportsmanship and gender equality!

At London 2012, Brunei, Saudi Arabia and Qatar decided to send female athletes for the first time. The even better news for these women is that the ban was lifted on the “hijab,” the Muslim women’s headscarf. “This shows the inclusiveness of the Olympic spirit,” said Razan Baker of the Saudi Olympic Committee.
