Does your state of residence affect the state of love?
In honor of the Valentine season, Amazon had the clever idea of sorting America’s greatest love stories based on the state in which the action takes place. From Alabama to Wyoming, you’ll find 50 different interpretations of the most powerful emotion on earth. Most are novels, but there are also two plays by Tennessee Williams (Louisiana and Mississippi). Short story collections from Amy Bloom (Connecticut), Raymond Carver (New Mexico) and Annie Proulx (Wyoming) deliver a variety of experiences. And the stories of three real-life marriages that blaze as intensely as any fictional romance represent Arkansas, California and New Hampshire.
