You may or may not drink Coke, but this 126-year-old brand has gained an iconic status all over the world. That would explain why it’s had no problem securing big names in fashion to design limited-edition cans and bottles.
The best part is that these Coke bottle and can designs reflect the signature of each designer or fashion house. The Coke Light bottles have received animal prints from Roberto Cavalli (2008), colorful stripes from Nathalie Rykiel (Sonia Rykiel’s daughter, 2008) red stilettos from Manolo Blahnik (2009), and polka dots from Moschino. Its sibling Diet Coke was treated to Diane von Furstenberg’s sophisticated geometric prints and Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic silhouette.
In a surprise move, Coca-Cola recently named Jean Paul Gaultier as its creative director. We think the company is well on its way to becoming one of the most stylish soft drink brands.
